Minsk Karate Federation
Last week Minsk Karate Federation was officially registered.
It is the very first karate organization, which united karate enthusiastic in the belarussian city.

Kumite training session, February 8-9 2014
In February from 8 till 9 2014 kumite training session for 12-13 years old will held. Session will be dedicated to technical and tactical trainings.
Goals and objectives
Promotion of healthy lifestyles among young people.
Mastering sporting athletes and coaches in Minsk.
Popularization of karate in Minsk.
Strengthening of friendly relations between organizations cultivate karate.
Time and venue.
Practice session will be held from 8 to 9 February 2014 at "Junior" sport club (38 Skripnikova str).
Participants.
12-13 y.o. athletes from MKF and invited organizations are allowed to participate in traininf session.
Program
Tactical practice and trainings: connection between kicking and punching techniques, sparring practices.

Conditions of participation.
Participants gather to make voluntary donation of 5 euros at the rate of National Bank of Belarus on the day of payment to the account of the Minsk Karate Federation. Ahtletes, who rated as top in Rating of the athletes of Minsk City Karate League 2013-2014 are exempt from payment. Athletes taking part in the training session must have a karate-gi, protective equipment, according to the rules of WKF, coaches and teachers mast have karate-gi or tracksuit, notebook and pen.
The following provisions(in russuian) is an official invitation to participate in the training session. Please confirm your participation before 07.02.2014 indicating the number of participating athletes and coaching and teaching staff at sportcommfk@tut.by. Please note that the session is organized for children in age group of 12-13 years! Participants of different age groups will be not allowed to take a part in the session.
Minsk city karate tournament 2014
February 2, 2014 in sports "Spartacus", which is situated in Minsk at 11 Bierut street ( map ) Minsk city karate competitions will be held. According to the results of the Championship will be formed team of Minsk city to participate in the Open Championship of the Republic of Belarus in 2014, hosted by the "Belarusian Karate Federation".
Host
Overall management of the organization and conduct of the tournament provided by Association "Minsk Karate Federation." Direct carrying competition rests on the panel of judges of the competition, approved by chairman of the Association "Minsk Karate Federation" including:
chief judge of the competitions - Pavel Piatiko.
Chief Secretary of the competitions - Leontieva Anna.
Participants
Athletes from organization and clubs, which practice karate in Minsk are allowed to take a part in competitions.
Age of participants is determined by the date of May 9, 2014.
Preliminary applications to send e-mail: sportcommfk@tut.by to 1.02.2014. Teams that have not been sent the provisional application within the prescribed period, to participate in the tournament are not allowed to participate.

Female (18+): -50 kg; -55 kg; -61 kg; -68 kg; +68 kg.

Minsk city karate tournament February 2-3 2013
February 2-3 2013 in sport complex "Spartak" on Beruta str. 11 (map) Minsk city karate tournament will held.
Minsk city karate team will be formed based on the results of this tournament. This team will take a part in karate tournament Belarus open 2013 which will be hosted by BKF.

Official report on Minsk city karate tournament
02.03 in February 2013 Championship took place in Minsk Karate Karate Federation Minsk organized with the support of the Office of Physical Education and Sports of Minsk City Executive Committee.
This tournament was the first in the history of such events, in which were selected in the team in Minsk to participate in the Open Championship of 2013. That is why the League of Minsk was closed - the athletes from other regions of the country could not take part in it. But despite the tough conditions of the competition was attended by 80 athletes from clubs in Minsk, representing the three main schools of karate style, active in the country: Shotokan, Shitō-ryū, Gōjū-ryū.
The tournament includes the following sections:
- male / female individual and team kata in the age group 16 years and older;
- male / female individual kumite in the age groups 18-20 years and 18 years and over in weight classes approved by the WKF.
It should be noted that in individual kata sections, men and women, as well as in the section individual kumite -67 kg men, the number of participants was equal to or even slightly higher than the corresponding category, held at the Open Championship of Belarus.
To some extent, the tone of the competitions were asked titled and famous athletes such as world-class athlete and Loban Pavlyuchenkov Alex Andrew, Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus Snegirev Gordey, Champion of the World Championships Pavel Zhukov.
The spirit of competition is particularly felt during the final matches, the price of which - a place in the team in Minsk and the ability to defend the honor of the team in the national championship.
The Cup's organization was at the right (for a tournament) level: the competition in the sections start on time in accordance with the regulations; minutes of meetings were held in both paper and electronic form; Kumite bouts course reflected on the electronic scoreboard, and the awards ceremony began at 5 minutes after the last category.
Organizers - Association "Minsk Karate Federation" in the person of Paul Stanislavovich Pyatko chairman and head of the Sports Committee of Cancer Vitaly - have made every effort to make this tournament was the "first signs" in the system transparent selection on the main republican start, which in turn will improve the the level of training of athletes across the country and will allow to represent the Republic of Belarus abroad.
Minsk Karate Federation team debut
February 18 at the Novograd-Volynskiy, Ukrain the "Zvyagel Open" karate tournament was held. MKF team took a part in this tournament and reached 7 place out of 21 in the team score.
Members of MKF team was reached 1 silver medal, 4 bronze and 5 fifth places. Chairman of the Board of Minsk Karate Federation Pavel Piatiko took a part in tournament as a Tatami manager.
We congratulate the MKF team with such good debut and wish them continuing sport victories ans achievments.

MKF team took third place at Internatiol Karate Tournament "Capital Cup"
MKF Team took third place at the International Karate Tournament "Capital Cup", which was held on 25-26 February 2012 in Minsk. See the team score in team_score.pdf (in russian).
Congratulations to all the athletes, their parents and coaches with the first prize in the first major events in Belarus, in which MKF team was took a part. Keep it up!
New MKF members
Minsk Youth NPO "Nihon Shotokan Karate-do Federation" -- is an official branch of Nihon Shotokan Karate-do Federation (NSKF) Japan in The Republic of Belarus decided to take a part in MKF activities (link).
NSKF Belarus is considering membership in the MKF as an opportunity for the development of Shotokan Karate-do in Minsk and raising the technical level of athletes who work in this style.
SEI "ASCCYP of Paryzansky district of Minsk city" joined the MKF
State Educational Institution "Athletic and sports center for children and young people of Partizansky district of Minsk city" officialy joined the Minsk Karate Federation.

Practice session January 2-6 2014
In the January from 2 to 6 2014 was held planned kumite training session, organized by the Association "Minsk Karate Federation"
Session was devoted to a detailed working out of protective actions, a detailed analysis of actions and common mistakes in the clinch work and special physical training. Training session was attended not only more than 20 athletes from Minsk clubs ("Fudoshin", "Volat", "Junior", "Sanker", "Everest"), but also guests from Mozyr (Champion fundation).

Presentation of Minsk KarateFederation
February 15, Minsk Karate Federation was introduced to public and press in the Jam club. Members of 12 karate clubs from Minsk was taking a part in presentation.
Presentation was covered by STV и Belarus 1 TV-channels, First Belarusian radio channel, TUT.BY, "Рэспубліка" newspaper, Joga + Life magazin.
After the official part of presentations it was press conference with the Chairman of the Board of Minsk Karate Federation Pavel Piatiko. After the conferese karate club leaders discuss the prospects for the development of a new organization in informal settings.
All participants received a presentation of souvenirs of the MKF and sponsoring organization.

15 февраля состоялась презентации ассоциации "Минская федерация каратэ". Инициаторами создания ассоциации выступили молодежное общественное объединение "Сэнкё" и общественное объединение "Хагакуре". Председателем МФК стал Павел Пятько.
yoga+life: Побеждали прежде – победим сейчас!
Группа молодых белорусских спортсменов-профессионалов сделала уверенный шаг в сторону развития воинского искусства в Минске — познакомилась с иностранными единомышленниками, заручилась поддержкой государства и создала Ассоциацию «Минская федерация карате» (МФК). Презентация деятельности новой структуры состоялась 15 февраля 2012 года.
